Delta Withdraws From London Gatwick

Delta Withdraws From London Gatwick–New York Route ⛔

👉🏻Delta Air Lines is reported to end its seasonal service between New York John F. Kennedy (JFK) and London Gatwick (LGW) as of September 7, 2025. Although the airline has not yet made an official statement, no flights are scheduled for 2026.

👉🏻Delta had relaunched the route in 2023 after a 15-year hiatus but temporarily suspended it later the same year. If the latest decision is confirmed, Norway-based Norse Atlantic Airways will remain the sole operator on the JFK–LGW corridor.

👉🏻This development follows British Airways’ announcement to end its Gatwick–New York flights on October 25, 2025. As a result, transatlantic services from Gatwick are shrinking, while both airlines plan to shift capacity to Heathrow and other popular leisure destinations.
